Walpole wilderness resort has been designed for the discerning guest who appreciates comfort, style and country charm, situated on 170 acres of karri and tingle forest.the self-contained cottages have been built by craftsman with extensive use of timber including polished jarrah floors, jarrah rafters and pine ceiling linings. Larger groups or families can take advantage of our three bedroom cottages that can sleep up to six people (seven on request).a spacious verandah with a gas barbecue provides the perfect backdrop to watch the resident birds and wildlife. Linen is provided, including towels, doonas and blankets. All cottages are located to provide guests with the best views while maintaining privacy.each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer and a large corner spa and en-suite located in the master bedroom with forest views. Also relevant for families seeking some quality time together. This has been our second stay here and as someone else put it former in this Guest Book this is a correct gem of a retreat. This region of WA is one of the finest, most pristine wildernesses left in the world. If it were not for Rhonda’s local knowledge, and my love of fresh Barron, we would have missed The Old Kent River Winery a visit to that store is a must. Their boutique wines are world class or better! Maximum importantly, the warmth and homeliness of this retreat is unparalleled. Rhonda’s warmth and hospitality, taking that small of surplus time with the guests, totally makes this place what it is. Rhonda, you are a gem of a person, and as I’m safe you know, healthy loved by many in this community. The kids really loved the idea of the kangaroos being so close to the chalet. The kangaroos, the quiet quiet, the fire, especially the spa. This was one of the maximum beautiful places we have ever seen! In the main bedroom of each cottage, there is a private heated spa with forest views, a Queen size bed and an en suite shower. The second bedroom also has a Queen size bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. Luggage storage for early arrivals or slow departures. All year except for tall season and exceptional offers. Cot and lofty chair are complimentary (prebookings are essential).
